Taylor Vinters is delighted to announce the next in its series of Charities Masterclasses in June 2010 in Cambridge and London. Following on from a successful series in the winter of 2009, these free masterclasses will focus on the twin themes of team working and employee/volunteer engagement.

Two inspiring thought leaders, Ted Smith, HR Group Director of Medical Research Council and Penny Sophocleous, Chief Exec of Corporate Alchemy will discuss the way in which people engage with your organisation and the differences it can make.

The Enlightened Team Working session will be based around the five core values of respect, trust, integrity, accountability and honest communications.  It will help trustees and executive teams to introduce specific values and principles into their inter-personal dealings both externally to end users and to their internal team of staff and/or volunteers.

The Enlightened Employee/Volunteer Engagement session will discuss effective utilisation of staff and volunteers within an organisation.  It will look beyond "best practice" and look at ways to raise performance and contribution.  For volunteers, there is no formal legal structure to govern the relationship and this session will try to answer how best to align employee and volunteer strategies.

Both sessions will be held in Cambridge and London at various dates throughout June.
