Businesses looking to pledge their support to charitable causes are set to be offered more advice about the tax incentives that may be available to them.
A new publication, entitled A Guide to Giving for Business, has been unveiled by Cabinet Office minister Tessa Jowell.
It is hoped the document, which is backed by the Office of the Third Sector, along with the Treasury and HM Revenue and Customs, will encourage more organisations to focus on charitable giving.

She said: "This government is committed to supporting corporate giving and this guide shows all the measures that are in place to promote giving amongst the business community."
Meanwhile, the Charities Aid Foundation recently welcomed the decision by mobile firm O2 to reduce its text donation fees to offer more support to charities.
