The FPB is aiming to provide online guidance to small businesses through the launch of various events.

Online guidance is due to be offered to small businesses through the launch of new Forum of Private Business (FPB) events, it has been revealed.

Website development and search engine optimisation are among the issues that are set to be touched upon during 11 events, which will be staged on a regional basis.

Confusion may be experienced by some small business entrepreneurs as a result of the pace of internet developments, according to Phil Orford, chief executive of the FPB.

He added: "The speed at which the internet is constantly changing, along with all the jargon and buzzwords which surround it, means that small business owners are often left dazed and confused."

The FPB's internet events will run between this month and December, with London due to host the first later on in the week (September 10th).

Leeds and Gateshead are among the other regions where events will be staged in the weeks ahead.
