The Talent, Opportunity, Prosperity manifesto published this week by the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) outlines a number of measures which are designed to enhance the country''s university sector.
While addressing the government''s participation target, the AGR would also like to see families given more encouragement to save towards higher education.
In addition, it believes that the tuition fee cap could be gradually removed over the course of the next decade.
"In our opinion, there has never been a greater need for government, employers and universities to build a shared vision for higher education," the organisation''s chief executive Carl Gilleard commented.
The AGR aims to provide representation to UK companies that regularly recruit graduate workers, with its activities starting in 1968.
