The earlier people start saving towards their retirement years, the better, according to one expert from Pensions Management.

People should try to start saving towards their retirement years as early as they can, an expert from Pensions Management believes.
Charlie Thomas, executive editor at the publication, feels that retirement saving is something that younger members of the public sometimes put off until a later date.
However, occupational pensions are among the options that Ms Thomas feels consumers could benefit from.
She stated: "Most occupational (workplace) pension schemes offered by employers will at least match your contributions, so you could see it as free money from your employer."
Share save schemes and Isas are among the other vehicles which the expert suggests could help people to support themselves once they give up working life and enter retirement.
Her remarks follow the publication of ComRes survey results by BBC's Newsnight programme.
Of those workers polled in the show's research, 72 per cent were reportedly feeling quite concerned about the issue of retirement funding.
