The UK may fall behind other nations if it fails to develop super-fast broadband services in the near future, an expert has suggested.
Edd Dawson, the editor at advice site broadband.co.uk, believes that the country''s ministers are not focusing enough attention on the issue.
He commented: "I am not seeing any decent policies from any of the political parties at the moment over what will happen and I think we are going to get left behind."

Mr Dawson went on to say that while politicians appear to be paying "lip service" to the subject of super-fast broadband, nothing concrete would seem to be planned.
Some consumers may be feeling frustrated by this lack of action, the expert believes.
Last month, it was suggested by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development that out of 30 countries assessed on their broadband speed capabilities, the UK was positioned in 21st place.
