A number of new equine anti-doping regulations have been introduced by the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI), which will apply to every new event run by the organisation.
While those who actually compete in FEI events are being encouraged to familiarise themselves with the Equine Anti-Doping and Controlled Medication Regulations, the likes of officials and grooms will also need to be aware of the rules.

While those who actually compete in FEI events are being encouraged to familiarise themselves with the Equine Anti-Doping and Controlled Medication Regulations, the likes of officials and grooms will also need to be aware of the rules.
The FEI''s Clean Sport website, which went live towards the start of this year, has published the regulations to ensure that people have the chance to take note of them.
Secretary-general of the organisation Alex McLin commented that the new rules have come about following a collective effort.
Their introduction "marks the culmination of a collective effort by the entire equestrian community to protect the integrity of our sport", he stated.
Meanwhile, the FEI has also confirmed the introduction of its Equine Prohibited Substances List.
