David is an associate in Taylor Vinters' commercial and technology team.  He specialises in commercial and intellectual property law and divides his time between clients in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology and IT/telecoms sectors.

David is a second career lawyer and spent three years as a postdoctoral research scientist before retraining in law.

David's particular interests are the acquisition, disposal, licensing and enforcement of trade marks, patents, copyrights and design rights. He also covers a wide range of general corporate and commercial work including non-disclosure agreements, consultancy, agency and distribution agreements and standard terms and conditions.
