Additional Paternity Leave

The new Additional Paternity Leave (APL) Regulations take effect shortly. These are part of the Government’s objective to encourage family-friendly working. The new Regulations apply for fathers (or co-adopters) whose babies are due on or after 3 April 2011. After this date, fathers will be entitled to a period of APL.
