Identifying people - not for profit

You will need people with the appropriate skills to act as your board of trustees/directors, to make up the management team and to work in support roles. How will you put these teams together, and what will they need to know to do their jobs well?

At the outset, you will want to put the right people in the right post, so that their skills and experience are used most effectively. For trustees, the voluntary nature of trusteeship often masks the wide range of responsibilities and obligations which go hand-in-hand with a trustee appointment.

We help new and existing trustees understand their role and the duties they must perform and what options exist for limiting trustees’ liabilities.  We provide training and support for trustees as well as practical advice on all aspects of trustee appointment, removal and operation.

For trustees and executives, keeping abreast of changing statutory obligations and operational best practice requires frequent updating and often bespoke training. We regularly present training and development courses either created specifically for individual organisations or for the sector.
